Official records from the Probate and Administration Division of the Accra High Court confirm that late highlife maestro Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, did not submit a last will and testament.
This information came from a formal registry search carried out as part of continuing legal actions aimed at deciding on the administration of the musician’s estate. The search aimed mainly to find out whether Daddy Lumba had left a will with the court, along with information on the filing date, the person who submitted it and the legal practitioner entail.
Official replies released by the registry on January 19, 2026, at 2:37 p.m. claim no such document exists on record. Duly signed and stamped by the Registrar of the Probate and Administration Division, the confirmation firmly said that the court holds no registered will in the name of the deceased artist.
Unless a valid will appears from some other source outside the court’s registry, Daddy Lumba’s estate is probably governed by Ghana’s intestate succession laws in the absence of a formally filed will.
