The Black Stars have landed in the United States to resume their training for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana departed Cardiff on Wednesday and landed in Washington, D.C., as the squad entered the final phase of its build-up to the competition.

Officials of the Ghana High Commission in Washington greeted the team when they arrived.

The World Cup is preceded by an international friendly match between the Black Stars and Wales, which finished 1-1, and which demonstrated some encouraging indicators for the competition.
Before the competition starts, head coach Carlos Queiroz and his players are scheduled to restart training on Thursday, focusing on tactical preparations and last modifications.

Ghana will strive to have a huge effect on football’s greatest platform when the FIFA World Cup starts on June 11, 2026. Ghana is in Group L, along with Panama, England, and Croatia. On June 17, Ghana will play Panama in its opening match at the Toronto Stadium in Canada.
