As part of efforts to improve the judicious spread of personnel across the country, Ghana Medical and Dental Council has inducted into practice six hundred and twenty-seven newly certified Registered Anesthetists and Physicians Assistants.
At the induction ceremony, the Registrar of the Council, Divine Banyubala told the inductees to act ethically and professionally considering that they now hold the lives of human beings.

“We are called upon to be bound not only by scientific knowledge in practice but also an ethical code of conduct which places primacy on the dignity and respect of human beings,” Divine Banyubala noted.
The Chairman of the Council, Agyeman Badu Akosa challenged the inductees by stressing that “You must respect human life. Patients welfare must be your primary concern and so must be the safety and upliftment of the health of human populations as well as individual patients”.
