A football showdown between New Media Ashanti and Wezzy Empire is set to spice up the upcoming Kwamang Homecoming activities being hosted by popular Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lilwin.
The homecoming celebrations are scheduled for April 16 to 18 and are expected to draw residents, fans, and visitors to Kwamang for a series of social and entertainment events.
One of the key highlights of the three-day programme is a friendly football match featuring Wezzy Empire and New Media Ashanti, a group of bloggers based in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking ahead of the event, Interim Chairman of New Media Ashanti, Busumuru , expressed strong optimism about his team’s chances in the match. He noted that his side is well-prepared and determined to emerge victorious against Wezzy Empire.
Beyond the football encounter, Busumburu assured that New Media Ashanti would play an active role in ensuring the overall success of the homecoming activities.
According to him, the group is committed to supporting the event through effective promotion and participation to make the celebration memorable.
The Kwamang Homecoming is expected to celebrate unity, community development, and Lilwin’s enduring connection to his hometown, with the football match serving as a major attraction during the festivities
