According to Vincent Kompany, Bayern Munich’s head coach, a change in the way Jamal Musiala’s neurological dysfunction is managed has caused the German international midfielder’s crashes in games.
Before Bayern’s German Super Cup encounter against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, August 22, he revealed this in a press conference.
Before stating on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with a neurological condition that caused the convulsions, Musiala passed out twice in the course of four days during pre-season games versus Heidenheim and RB Leipzig.
Kompany informed the media that Musiala had given him permission to discuss his medical condition during the news conference.
