The new head coach of Tottenham Hotspur is Roberto De Zerbi, whose contract will keep him there through June 2031.
As the club tries to move up the Premier League standings and restore its position among the top clubs in England, the Italian manager arrives with a clear mission to turn around Spurs’ fortunes, both in the near and long term.
De Zerbi stated in a statement published by the club that he was thrilled to be in the position. “I am thrilled to be joining this amazing football club, which is among the largest and most esteemed in the world,” he stated.

Another reason for his choice was alignment with the club’s leadership.
“During all of my conversations with the Club’s leadership, their goal for the future has been clear: to create a squad that can accomplish great things, and to do it while playing a brand of football that excites and inspires our fans. I’m here because I believe in that goal and have committed my life to it by signing a long-term contract.
De Zerbi stated that the main goal would be to get instant results, with Spurs trying to advance in the league rankings before the end of the current season.

“Our immediate goal is to move up the Premier League standings, and that will be our sole priority until the very end of the season. I’m excited to get out on the training field and collaborate with these athletes to make that happen.
With high expectations that his offensive strategy will produce results as well as a more exciting style of play for fans, his hiring marks a new path for Tottenham.
