Otto Addo, the Black Stars manager, has named his squad for the upcoming March international friendlies against Germany and Austria, with the inclusion of four players set to make their international debuts – Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya and Daniel Agyei.
Derrick Luckassen plays as a centre-back for Pafos FC in Cyprus, having graduated from AZ Alkmaar’s academy. He has also played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hertha BSC, Anderlecht, PSV, Kasımpaşa and Fatih Karagümrük. He recently became the Cypriot league champion for the 2024-25 season and scored Pafos’ first-ever goal in the UEFA Champions League.
Marvin Senaya made his professional debut in 2021 and is currently playing with AJ Auxerre in France’s Ligue 1 after spells at Strasbourg, Sochaux and Lausanne-Sport.
Daniel Agyei is a forward/winger who plays for Kocaelispor in Turkey and previously played for Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra, Oxford United and Burnley in England before moving to Turkey.
Patrick Pfeiffer is a centre-back for Darmstadt 98 in Germany’s Bundesliga II and is a member of the squad.
The squad returns four players who have previously represented Ghana: Thomas Partey; Alexander Djiku; Ibrahim Sulemana; and Iñaki Williams.
