Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, the founder and general overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, has publicly apologized to New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer candidate Kennedy Ohene Agyapong after a prediction he made that turned out to be untrue.
Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia appeared to be ahead in the NPP presidential primaries, according to preliminary results released on Saturday, January 31, in a Facebook post.
Prophet Nelson-Eshun acknowledged in the article that he had publicly stated—in books, films, and media interviews—that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would be the NPP’s flagbearer, a forecast he now admits was incorrect.
“I would like to discuss the false forecasts I made about the presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party. In a book, videos, and media interviews, I predicted that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would win the primaries and represent the New Patriotic Party as its standard-bearer. That statement did not come true. I didn’t see it. I made a mistake. I sincerely beg your pardon.
The prophet admitted that his proclamations swayed a lot of individuals who had faith in his message, admitting that the failed prophecy had repercussions in the emotional, spiritual, and political realms.
“I accept full responsibility for this prophetic word. I give my heartfelt apologies to anyone who put their faith in my word and suffered any harm, dissatisfaction, or adverse consequences. I feel particularly bad for people who made choices based on my statements. I take full responsibility and don’t point the finger at anyone. As stated, I acknowledge that this prediction was unsuccessful.
According to him, the result prompted a profound introspection and a reevaluation of how prophetic messages should be shared to the public, particularly in contentious political circumstances.

In addition to thanking those who lovingly corrected him and continue to pray for him, Prophet Nelson-Eshun also apologized to believers in Ghana and throughout the world who felt let down or hurt by the forecast.
