Ghanaian actor and CEO of Dabo Soccer Academy Samuel Dabo has sued his fellow Kumawood actor Kwabena Nana Ofori Agyemang popular known as Oboy Siki and Gh Page for defamation of character.
On the 9th of January 2026, Media outlet Gh Page had an interview with Kumawood Actor Oboy Siki where he made derogatory remarks about his fellow actor Samuel Yaw Dabo. Oboy Siki who is also a beverage seller at Krofrom Traffic is known to be an outspoken person in the media who always expresses his views on trending issues in Ghana. As a result of this interview Yaw Dabo has sued Oboy Siki and the media outlet Gh Page for defamation at the Kumasi High Court.

The following are the particulars of defamation Yaw Dabo claims the controversial actor Oboy siki made about him during the interview.
PARTICULARS OF DEFAMATION
- Oboy Siki said in the twi language that “w’adidi John Mahama at3m” This means that the Dabo has insulted His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, who is the President of the Republic of Ghana.
- The actor said in the twi language that “wo nni sika a y3 de te team” This means Dabo does not have what it takes to own a Soccer Academy.
- Oboy further said in the twi language that “)nt)n player da” meaning Dabo has not been able to sign any contract in respect of his players and that Dabo’s Soccer Academy is a substandard.
- He also said that Dabo is not a human being and said in the twi language that “mmr)fo no hu wo s3 toy bi” meaning the white people see Dabo as a toy.
- Oboy said in the twi language in that said video that “Yaw Dabo nni k)te3”, “wo ntumi wo ba”. This means that Yaw Dabo does not have a penis and that does not have what it takes to impregnate a woman.

Yaw Dabo also said in his suit that the 2nd defendent which is Gh Page published various pictures of him without his consent or any reason whatsoever. He added that in the course of the interview, the 2nd defendant which is Gh Page also made defamatory statements to listeners and viewers of the channel concerning him.
Dabo claims that this interview has caused serious damages to his businesses, family and his reputation. Bellow are some of the damages;
DAMAGES CAUSED
- He says that his reputation, especially as a Public Figure and Sports Ambassador, has been grossly damaged and he has suffered distress and embarrasment.
- He added that he his family have been inundated with numerous calls from colleague actors, family members, business associates, friends and outright strangers and he has had to answer very mortifying questions about his body reputation.
- He also says that as a result of the derogatory statement published on Gh Page’s platform, he is unable to go to public spaces and express himself as he did in the past for fear of ridicule.
- Dabo says that as a result of Oboy Siki’s derogatory and defamatory remarks about him, his brand has been negatively affected to the extent that some of his upcoming brand ambassadorial deals have been slow in coming and some of his clients even want to withdraw their brand ambassadorial deals from him.
The plaintiff Yaw Dabo’s claims against Oboy Siki and Gh Page is jointly and severally as follows;
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
- Special damages of One Million Ghana CedisĀ (GhC 1,000,000) against the Oboy Siki and Gh Page jointly and severally.
- A declaration that the statements made by the defendants and reproduced in paragraph 8 of the statement of claim are false, malicious and defamatory to Yaw Dabo.
- An order directed at the defendants to pull down that said video from their social media pages and to also compel them to publish a full and unqualified apology to Yaw Dabo and retraction of the statements made in all social media platforms and internet websites in which the defamatory statements were repeated.
- General damages for the defamatory statements made against him.
- Injunction against the defendants, either by themselves or their agents or assigns from further publishing or causing to be published the defamatory words complained of.
- And any other relief the Honourable Court may deem fit.

Dabo’s suit was filed at the Dominion Chambers Adum Kumasi on the 16th of January and the defendants were served on the 19th of January 2026.
