The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has directed an investigation into a widely watched video that asserts some police officers in Kibi were complicit in the unlawful withdrawal of GH400,000 from the mobile money account of a mobile money agent.
At the request of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) carried out a thorough inquiry into the claims made on social media.
According to the police, the alleged victim has since been reached and is cooperating with investigators as they try to make sense of what happened.
