For the Black Stars’ November match versus Somalia, Kim Lars Björkegren has been named interim head coach by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The appointment comes after a recommendation by the Black Stars Coach Search Committee as Ghana looks for a permanent head coach and was made in consultation with the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
The assistant coaches will be Ibrahim Tanko and Godwin Attram, and former Ghana goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda has been appointed goalkeepers coach.

According to the GFA and the Ministry, the provisional technical team will oversee the national squad during a time of transition by bringing together international expertise, local knowledge, and an understanding of Ghanaian football.
During the November international window, extra technical and support personnel will be hired to help the team.
The interim deal only covers the November games, and the Coach Search Committee will keep looking for a legitimate head coach.
The committee, the Ministry, and the GFA have all implored Ghanaians to support the Black Stars and their technical staff as the team gets ready for its next assignment.
