At Anyinasin Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway, a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer were involved in a road collision that left four people dead.
The collision happened early Monday morning, September 28, 2026.
The distress call was received at 5:21 a.m. by the Bunso Fire Station, which arrived at the scene at 5:35 a.m. with a seven-member crew.
Firemen saved trapped victims, protected the area, and assisted with traffic management.
The collision caused significant damage to the Toyota Voxy, which had registration number GR 9430-26, as well as damage to the MAN Diesel trailer, which had registration number GS 4064-26.
After being saved, one male victim was sent to the Kibi Government Hospital for treatment.
At the site, three males and one female were among the four other victims who were pronounced dead.
The police are looking into what caused the incident.
